Vintage 70's Thulite Pendant

This is a pendant featuring a thulite stone.
Thulite is a pink variety of the mineral zoisite. 

It was first discovered in Norway in 1820 and is named after the mythical island of Thule, which was believed to be in the far north. 

Thulite is also known as rosaline and is often mottled with gray or white quartz. 
In Norway, it is considered the national gemstone.
