Vintage 1970s mushroom Poef stool (also referred to as a "kinderkrukje" or child's stool), typically dating from the 1960s or 1970s. 

It features a distinctive mushroom shape with a round, padded seat, combined with storage space and a tapered conical base 

These stools are commonly made from and upholstered in skai (imitation leather) with a textured surface.

Many of these vintage models include internal storage space accessible by removing the top.
