Material: Solid wood with a rich warm finish
The wood grain looks like it might be pine or a fruitwood with a darker stain. This makes it lighter and easier to ship or move than solid oak or teak.
Condition: Good vintage condition. This piece is structurally solid and sturdy. It features visible flat-head screw construction, characteristic of mid-century utility furniture.
There is some surface wear consistent with age, including light scuffs and a few defect on the side panel (as shown in photos).
These could easily be touched up with wood oil or a furniture marker, but they also add to its authentic retro character.
