Step back in time with this beautiful, mechanically pristine piece of sewing history.

This Singer Model 15K88 was officially commissioned on December 18, 1951, at the legendary Kilbowie manufacturing plant in Clydebank, Scotland (Serial No. EH013395).

This robust, heavy-duty cast-iron machine is a gorgeous example of post-WWII domestic engineering. It features a glossy black enamel finish adorned with the classic gold-toned "Symptom / Scroll" filigree decals and the signature brass Singer manufacturing trade medallion.

Equipped with its original mechanical hand crank assembly and a polished wooden handle, this machine requires absolutely no electricity to run.

It features the advanced 15K88 drop-feed subclass mechanism, allowing the operator to lower the feed dogs for free-motion embroidery, quilting, and darning.
