This piece is not just furniture; it’s a piece of maritime history. Constructed from solid wood (likely camphor or teak) with traditional brass/metal strapwork and corner guards, this trunk was built to withstand international travel. 

The wood has a beautiful, aged patina that only comes with a century of use.

With a Unique Feature Historical Provenance: The lid/side is hand-inscribed with the original owner’s details: “P. Koedood, Paul Krugerstr. 7, Bolnes – Holland.”

Quality Construction: Heavy-duty metal banding and reinforced corners.Versatile 

The style is Perfect as a unique coffee table, a blanket chest at the foot of a bed, or a statement storage piece in an entryway.Condition

 Excellent antique condition. It shows "honest wear"—scuffs and character marks that verify its age and history. The hinges and structure are solid.
